Greg Logue is the program director and lead instructor at HazTox. His career started in 1991 as a Combat Medic in the U.S. Army’s 10th Mountain Division. After leaving the Army, he helped develop the LifeFlight Program at Miami Children’s Hospital (now Nicklaus Children’s Hospital) and worked there as a critical care flight medic. Greg joined Miami Dade Fire Rescue in 1998 and has ascended to the rank of Battalion Chief over the last 24 years. Greg is also the EMS Coordinator for the Miami Dolphins.
Greg began teaching the Combat Lifesaver Course in the Army in 1993 and started teaching AHA courses (PALS, NRP, CPR and ACLS) in 1996. Since then, he has instructed and/or developed the following education:

Dr. Abo is an emergency and EMS physician with further subspecialty in austere, disaster, wilderness and international emergency medicine/EMS. He has over 24 years of experience in EMS as an EMT then a paramedic and now physician. Before matriculating into medical school, Dr. Abo was an education and international EMS consultant as faculty of the University of Pittsburgh and the Center for Emergency Medicine. Dr. Abo walked with honors for a dual medicine and masters in public health at Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine in California then did emergency medicine residency at Mount Sinai Miami Beach. After that, he did an EMS fellowship at the University of Florida where he stayed on faculty as assistant professor for a few years. He has since begun working clinically in south Florida and is now faculty for Florida State University's new EMS fellowship currently starting in Sarasota. He has responded in varying roles to numerous large scale disasters within the US and globally and also has served in various leadership roles for various philanthropic and educational endeavors. Furthermore, Dr. Abo remains active in various ongoing projects including numerous book chapters and article authorship, on scene medical direction for Shark Week and other TV productions, acting Director of the International Institute for Sustainability in Emergency Services, and frequent guest lecturer internationally for a variety of topics and audiences.
Currently Dr. Abo maintains actives role as Associate Medical Director of Technical Rescue for Gainesville Fire Rescue, Medical Director Captiva Island Fire Control District, Primary Investigator/Medical Director of Venom 1 & Venom 2 Venom Response Units, and Medical Director for FEMA/Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Urban Search & Rescue Florida Task Force 1 (FLTF1), responding EMS physician for Southwest Florida USAR Task Force 6 (FLTF6), and a physician for FEMA/HHS FL-5 Disaster Medical Assistance Team (DMAT).
